We got engaged whilst on holiday in Thailand, and it was there we decided to get married abroad. It was an easy decision to choose Italy as a wedding destination (Beautiful landscapes, good food, good wine/beer…) but the region was a lot more difficult to decide upon. After many weeks of searching every website going, we settled upon the Amalfi region, and in particular Ravello caught our interest. On all the websites about weddings in Ravello, we kept stumbling across the same names… Mario Capuano and his son Enrico Capuano. It became apparent that if we were to put our faith into someone else organising our wedding celebrations for us, the Capuano men were the ones to do it. The wedding day went without a hitch. From the moment Enrico, the professional wedding photographer for our special day, arrived at the hotel Giordano, we knew we were in safe hands as he began to take pictures of the bridal party getting ready and also visited to groomsmen to take some initial pictures of them getting prepared. We then walked through the main square of Ravello up to the Principessa di Piemonte town hall gardens, which was very memorable with many people gathering round to take pictures and shout ‘Auguri!’ Spring was the perfect time to see the Belvedere garden at its best. We had our wedding ceremony set in an idyllic location whilst overlooking the most beautiful views of the Amalfi coast. Following on from the marriage ceremony, we had canapés and a toast in the town square, and had some formal pictures whilst the guests were being entertained. However, it soon became apparent that we weren’t the most serious of wedding parties when some of our guest decided to photobomb our ‘romantic shots’. From here we had a mixture of formal family group photos as well as some funny improvised shots, set with the backdrop of Scala, across the valley. Enrico was happy to follow our lead and got some great relaxed style photos of us all. During our arrival at Villa Eva, amazing venue of reception, Enrico Capuano organised our guests efficiently and arranged everyone so that we got some great confetti shots as we made our entrance and started the celebrations. After a few entrance drinks we were whisked off to the rooftop of the Villa so that we could have some more pictures of the two of us with the spectacular view of the mountains and coast line as sun started to set. During the speeches Enrico took many pictures of the speakers as well as the guests reactions, and captured every impromptu moment as it happened. We would like to say a big, heartfelt thanks to Enrico, for capturing every special moment and preserving our memories for us. He is a very professional, kind and sincere man who felt like one of our guests and it was a pleasure to have him there, alongside us on our wedding day.
